Who can appear for PMP
certification?
If you believe you have

for.
Listed below are the
requirements:
- Four years of
degree
- At least 36
months of professional project management experience
- At least 4,500
hours of experience in leading the projects
- Minimum 35 hours of education in
project management
OR
- A High school
diploma
- Minimum 60
months of experience in professional project management
- At least 7,500
hours of experience in directing the projects
- Minimum 35 hours of education in project management
The exam Pattern
Once you ensure that the
eligibility criteria are met, the candidate can now appear for the examination
within a year of the eligibility period. The exam mainly focuses on three key
areas: the people, process, and business environment.
The exam consists of 180
questions that must be answered within 230 minutes. These questions are a
combination of multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blanks, and
matching.
What after getting
certified?
Once you become PMP
certified you need to maintain the certification by gaining 60 professional
development units (PDUs) within three years of getting certified. These PDUs
are to be reported to PMI using their portal.
